ULTIMATE FRISBEE

ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Summer is coming! So it´s time to practice a new sport: Ultimate.
But, what is Ultimate?

It’s an exciting, non-contact team sport played by thousands all over the world in Open, Mixed and Women’s teams. Ultimate is a fast-paced game, demanding its players to develop razor sharp throwing skills and immense stamina and agility.
Ultimate is an intense sport but it’s also very newcomer friendly. The ‘Ultimate community‘ is something people often refer to and you can easily understand why, as the opportunity for beginners to get involved and get competitive at a fun level are widespread in lots of countries.
By the way, it’s played with a flying disc called Frisbee.
Here you have the basic rules of Ultimate:
1.    Players cannot run with the disc.
2.    Players are allowed to hold the disc in their possession for a maximum of 10 seconds.
3.    Players are allowed to pivot with disc.
4.    Non-contact sport.
5.    Each point begins with both teams lining up on the front of their respective end zone line.
6.    When a pass in not completed (e.g. out of bounds, dropped, blocked, intercepted), the defence immediately takes possession of the disc and becomes the offence.
7.    Screens (defensas, “hacer pantallas”) are allowed.
8.    Teams score by passing the disc across their opponents defensive line.
9.    Each point begins with both teams lining up on the front of their respective end zone line.
10. The team that scored the previous point pulls the disc to the opposing team
11. If contact is made a foul should be called.
Enjoy the video and practice Ultimate!
