EXPLORING PLANTS: LEARNING THROUGH PLAYDOUGH

In first grade, learning about plants is hands-on, visual, and rooted in curiosity. Young learners explore basic ideas such as what plants need to grow, the main parts of a plant (roots, stem, leaves, and flowers), and how plants help living things.

To show their understanding, students engage in creative modelling using play dough during science class. By shaping roots, stems, leaves, and flowers, children turn abstract ideas into something concrete and meaningful. This playful approach allows learners to demonstrate understanding through action, and build fine motor skills at the same time. Modelling with play dough makes learning visible and fun.

🏃Move a little and enjoy your free time: Walk, dance, stretch... every exercise counts.

💤🛌Get some sleep: and 🌄Relax a bit.

🤗🫂Be kind: This season is for sharing, not fighting over the last cookie.. and 🧼🪥remember your hygiene habits!

And that’s it! Enjoy December without losing your balance… or your good mood.
