ROBIN HOOD

Do you know the story of Robin Hood?
Robin Hood was a heroic outlaw in English folklore.

In the 12th-century, Richard the Lionheart was the King of England. He left England on a Crusade, and left the kingdom to his brother John, who was a very bad man. That was the reason why Robin Hood became an outlaw and went to live in Sherwood Forest, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. His group of outlaws was called The Merry Men, and they were great archers and swordmen. They fighted the Sheriff of Nottingham, who helped King John take all the people's money.

There are many films that tell the story of Robin Hood. Here you have a short part of a cartoon classic, and a very old classic film trailer.

And now let's see if you can answer these two questions (correct answers win a sticker)
What was the name of Robin's love?
Why am I talking about Robin Hood in the blog now?
