Meet our Language assistant, Theresa, and her favourite festival: Saint Patrick´s day.

Hello, my name is Theresa. I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, and am working in the school as a conversation assistant. Today I'm going to share a little bit about how we celebrate St. Patrick's Day in the United States.

St. Patrick's Day is a big deal in the United States because so many people in the U.S. have Irish heritage. On St. Patrick's Day in Cincinnati, people go to bars and eat Irish food such as corned beef and cabbage. Cincinnati also has a parade every year to celebrate. Many restaurants serve green beer. A popular restaurant chain even serves green spaghetti!
