A visit to the Science museum

The 4th graders visited Valladolid Science Museum this week, including the planetary and two temporary exhibitions: "Nutrition: life boost" and "The treasures of Tutankhamun".

Some of the interesting things we saw:

First Renault 4 CV manufactured in Valladolid FASA factory, in 1953.
The only car in Spain declared of Cultural Interest.

Foucault's Pendulum
It is one of the most beautiful and elegant experiments of Physics, which allows to verify the movement of terrestrial rotation.
The pendulum of the Museum is suspended from a braided steel cable of 11 meters in length, and formed by a chromed iron sphere of 20 centimetres radius and 80 kilos of weight.
