Merry Christmas from Laguna de Duero

This year the 1st and 2nd graders worked really hard to do a Christmas card exchange with three schools from the United States of America.
During the month of December the 1st and 2nd graders wrote an informative book to about the weather in Laguna de Duero during December, typical foods, customs, and activities that they did during Christmas time.  Each student also wrote a Christmas card to mail to a student in the United States.
Three schools from Illinois collaborated with us on the project and sent us cards, a Christmas book, and information to teach us about how children in America celebrate Christmas.

Here are some pictures of the gifts and cards we received. :)

The students from Scales Mound, Illinois are learning Spanish so they wrote us Christmas Cards in Spanish!!!

One school created and ABC book about Christmas!
Here's the page for the letter F!
