HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HANS!

Do you like fairy tales?
You have got to thank the man in the picture for writing many of them. His name is Hans Christian Andersen.

Hans Christian Andersen was born in Denmark, on the second of April of 1805. He was a poet and a writer. He is very famous for his children stories. He wrote many of the stories you have seen on Walt Disney films or you have read in books: The Little Mermaid, The Princess and the Pea, The Emperor´s New Clothes, The Little Tin Soldier, The Ugly Duckling...

Every year, we remember him on his birthday, April 2nd, celebrating The International Children's Book Day.

Here are two of his famous stories and two questions for you:

(Correct answers win a sticker!)

What are the English titles of the two stories? Why do you think I'm putting this in the blog?
